About

Peter Denison was commissioned from the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, into the Duke of Edinburgh's Royal Regiment. He resigned his commission in the rank of Captain in order to commence training as a probation officer, remaining in the Probation Service for thirty-seven years. After becoming a Christian in 1974, he was involved in various Christian rehabilitation charities, including the Probation Service Christian Fellowship (National Chairman), Prison Fellowship (South East England Co-ordinator) and Stepping Stones Trust (Chairman for twenty-eight years) - receiving an OBE for his work in SST. He has a passionate interest in seeing the Lord working in the lives of prisoners. He lives with his wife in West Sussex, having been married for fifty-five years, with three grown-up children and six grandchildren.
